SUPERMAN # 701 SPOILER REVIEW

Something  Beautiful

Taking place after all the events involving New Krypton, Superman decides to reconnect with his roots. At first, I thought that Superman walking the earth and living as a human would be boring and weird. Surprisingly, however, this issue was very beautiful and touching. J. Michael Straczynski, whom I have never heard of before, wrote this beauty of a comic book!

Bruce Wayne: The Road Home Covers Revealed!

DC's The Source revealed the covers to the mini-series today! The covers look awesome but a bit plain. The covers are supposed to show key figures in Bruce's life, however I don't see the Joker or Jason. Stephanie Brown, the new Batgirl, appears on one of the covers.

RED HOOD - The LOST DAYS # 1 SPOILER REVIEW

Origin Time is my Favorite Time!

Red Hood - The Lost Days is meant to promote the new-ish DCAU moive, Batman: Under the Hood, which is named after the mini-series which reintroduced Jason Todd. Jason was the second Robin who was murdered by the Joker thanks to whiny Dick Grayson fans. The infamous 1-900 number one-dollar hotlines giving callers the ability to vote for or against Jason's death was, in my opinion, the BEST thing DC every came up with. If Jason never died, I don't think I would have become a fan of comics entirely. It was after reading Under the Hood, that I fell in love with comics. Jason's agony, and suffering was awesomely written by Judd Winick, who coincidentally, wrote this!

Marvel actually means Movies?

That is very plausible, I mean both Marvel and the word Movies have six letters. That's more than enough proof that Marvel stands for Movies. Right?

Basically, most superhero movies that are out now are based on Marvel characters. We got a Spider-Man trilogy, two different Hulk movies, two Iron Mans, two different Punishers, a crap load of X-Men, a Blade trilogy, two Fantastic Fours, one Daredevil, one Elektra, and one Ghost Rider.

BATMAN BEYOND # 1 SPOILER REVIEW

Show time....Again!

So, this is Batman Beyond issue 1. The cover looks decent, and captures the whole DCAU (DC Animated Universe) Batman Beyond universe feel. For those who don't know what Batman Beyond is, it's basically  a retired Bruce Wayne and new comer, Terry McGinnis fighting crime in the year 2039 in Neo-Gotham. Terry takes on the role of Batman, while Bruce acts as his mentor and guides Terry during missons. This min-series is supposed to take place in between the end of the show, and before the Justice League Unlimited episode, "Epilogue".

HELLO!

Hello and welcome to my new blog!
This blog was made to help those comic book lovers, much like myself, to understand more about a certain issue or storyline. Therefore, I will use this blog to frequently review different comic books. I will be (usually) looking at the writing, the art, the ups, and the downs, and giving an overall rating to each category, and will either recommend it to others or tell you to stay away from it.
